The selfie certainly has evolved. With the first front facing camera released in 2010 by apple to todays Snapchat filters. It’s only improving. Matthew Mohr created the first ever 3D selfie machine.

You can see the structure in the “As We Are” art exhibit at the Columbus Convention Center. Matthew Mohr had many ideas but settled on this selfie sculpture because our modern culture, and diversity. This is a fun, interactive, creation.

This invention cost approximately $1.4 million! It has 3,000 ultra-bright LED panels. It’s very simple to get your face featured on this invention. Just enter the onsite photo booth ready with 29 high definition cameras. The reason why there is so many cameras so they can get your face from every angle so it will look like your face.

Mohr’s creation hopes that this will allow everyone to be appart of a public art piece.
