For 20 years this amazing spacecraft has been taking unbelievable photos of Saturn. On September 15th, 4:55 a.m. this spaceship entered saturns atmosphere and was destroyed. When it was launched in 1997 it took 7 years for it to get to the desired spot near Saturn. Thanks to this amazing spacecraft scientists all over have discovered many different things. Including two of the moons have all the things needed to support life. It was still doing a good job, but it was running out of fuel. To make sure that Saturn stayed protected the scientists gave the Cassini orders to enter saturns atmosphere, so it would burn up. This project was international. For that reason many different scientists have worked on the project. Some from the beginning. Sad to see the history end they had to shut it down to save the planet Saturn. The photos this amazing spacecraft took will provide new discoveries for many years  to come, even if it means without the Cassini.
