This is a picture of the baby and mother together!

The Toronto Zoo welcomes an adorable, male, one horned rhinoceros calf (The first newborn animal as of 2018).
The lucky mother is 13-year-old rhinoceros Ashakiran.
Ashakiran also gave birth in 2016.
People say that the one horned rhino almost became extinct in the early 1900’s. However, they still are vulnerable.
The newborn is strong and healthy, thanks to the help of everyone working at that zoo, for he was born Thursday, January 4th, 2018!πŸ‘πŸ»

FUN FACTS:
A one horned rhino usually has a gestation period of 425-496 days, so basically 16 months.
The one horned rhino was finally stated as vulnerable instead of endangered, it’s on step closer to being safe from any danger, thanks to millions of people’s support!
